When you have no restrictions on where to put a building you tend to put it in the best place, so when they were rebuilding the Queens Hotel in 1845, that's what they did. Situated in the geographical centre of Cumbria, surrounded by the 'Lake District National Park' and close to all the conveniences of the town, it is small wonder that the Queens Hotel has always flourished. The lounge and breakfast room is Non Smoking at all times. Situation and good food by themselves do not create the perfect holiday. Neither do comfortable well-appointed rooms, which of course we have. It is the small things like a friendly smile, and staff remembering you from last time, that we at the Queens think makes the big difference.

Cuando no tienes ninguna restricci+¦n en cuanto al sitio para construir un hotel, lo construyes en el mejor sitio, as+¡ que cuando reconstruyeron el Queen's en 1845, eso es lo que hicieron. Situado en el centro geogr+ífico de Cumbria, rodeado por el 'Lake District National Park' y cerca de todas las facilidades del pueblo, es un poco asombrosos que el hotel Queen's siempre haya florecido. El sal+¦n y la sala para desayunar es permanentemente una zona de no fumadores. La situaci+¦n y la buena comida no crean las vacaciones perfectas. Tampoco lo hacen las confortables habitaciones, que por supuesto tenemos. Es un peque+¦o detalle como una amigable sonrisa y el personal que se acordar+í de usted hasta el ultimo momento, que nosotros en el Queen's creemos que establece una gran diferencia con el resto
