Outside the private grounds provide walkways to the Japanese Garden with its cascading pools and stunning azaleas and rhododendrons. The circular walk of the tarn gives wonderful views of Gate House itself. There is easy access onto the fells, with low level walks into neighbouring valleys as well as beautiful lakes all in close proximity to Gate House. | |
